Nancy Rexroth was among the first professional photographers to work with a Diana Camera. Previously this camera was labeled a "toy" camera, not to be taken seriously. However, Rexroth challenged this assumption by handling her images made with this camera very preciously. She printed all her prints using the antique selenium process, toning each print gold. Rexroth photographed Ohio attempting to capture, within this unfamiliar landscape, the nostalgic feelings she felt for Iowa, her home.
