Alfred Stieglitz

gettin old school.
Convinced that no single photograph could capture the true essence of a person's character or appearance, Stieglitz attempted to record his wife and great love, Georgia O'Keeffe in all her physical and emotional dimensions. Over the span of twenty years, the series included over three hundred pictures of her. While there are several portraits of O'Keeffe both nude and clothed within this series. I am most fond of the photographs he took of her just her hands. They are effortlessly poetic.
