Hong Hao My things no.6-The hangover of the revolution in my home 2002
collecting, categorizing, archiving and mapping can be seen a lot in Hong Hao's works
esp. with everyday objects that he has. As an individual object, it might not shine and might not mean anything to others but when they come together they speak as a whole. People tend to find meaningful meanings from them and appreciate the mundane objects more when they are grouped because it expresses more when they are together.
Freshmen year took this photo of what I had on my desk.
