New Topographics Photograph Site Map
A google maps layout of all of the sites where the photographs were made in the "New Topographics: Photographs of a Man-Altered Landscape" show at George Eastman House in 1975. To see the map click here.
The "New Topographics" show was curated by William Jenkins in 1975 and drastically altered the climate for contemporary photography. It featured artists Robert Adams, Lewis Blatz, Joe Deal, Frank Gohlke, Nicholas Nixon, John Schott, Stephen Shore, and Henry Wessel, Jr. The show was one of the most influential photography exhibitions of the medium's history.
