Carolyn: When discussing the potential of your project to include portraits of persons forming part of the audience during boxing events, I thought of Sarah Stolfa's work. While working as a bartender, she photographed the "regulars" who attended the bar at which she worked. The project is a very strong body of work which directs our attention to people we see often and form part of a demographic specific to location by sharing a common interest. They come to these places to focus on an activity/main event, while the camera is directed towards them.
